How to beat winters during wedding and yet look prettiest!!!
In India, people mostly prefer to marry during winters as during summers it is a tough task to bear the heat even when you are in your most comfortable and minimal clothing. Then thinking of getting dressed in a heavy traditional party with matching accessories and makeup just becomes a punishment. As far as my choice is concerned, I enjoy winter wedding more than summers. But it’s not always easy in winters. When the temperature is just about to freeze you, then making a right choice will keep you comfortable and you can enjoy the celebration to its fullest.
For those who are wearing salwar kameez, it's easy to beat the icy cool temperature with the choice of thick fabric, full sleeves and some thermal wear underneath the dress. Same rule goes for lehanga and Saree also. You should try to find Saree with thick fabric like silk with heavy embroidery rather than light fabric like net or chiffon. For blouse you can use woollen fabric with full sleeves in long cut pattern which will help you to provide with enough warmth.
During winters you have the liberty of choosing vibrant and dark colors which make the clothes perfect for the party. Peacock blue or sea green goes very well with fuchsia or shades of red. One can also experiment with combina-tion of multiple colors. Tangrine orange is also very much liked for such traditional occasions. So just put on your fa-vourite dress with your lovely jewellery and get that ravishing look which everyone is going to admire.
